New Guinness world record – another reason for celebration. Case IH celebrates its 175th anniversary in 2017. This year also marked 40 years of single-rotor technology Axial-Flow, which revolutionized the harvest, as well as the 20th anniversary model Quadtrac four independent tracks which have become the new standard for tractors.

Axial-Flow 9230 reached a record yield of 16,791 tons per hectare. The record was recorded at the family farm under the management of Eric and Maxine Watson in Ashburton on the South island of New Zealand. The average yield of winter wheat in New Zealand - about 12 tons per hectare.

The previous record, established in United Kingdom two years earlier, was 16,519 tons per hectare.
