Completed investigation of the criminal case against the head of the farm accused of fraud in especially large size, informs a press-service GU MVD of Russia in Samara region.

In 2014, as an individual entrepreneur – the head of the farm, the resident of the village of Khvorostyanka (Khvorostyanskaya district of the Samara region) filed to the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Samara region application for a grant for the development of their family farms. Woman planned to buy a hundred head of cattle.

The application was approved, and the farmer received 4.8 million rubles. But the money rural woman is spent on personal needs. In 2015, the woman provided to the Ministry of agriculture of the region the bogus documents that grant is spent as intended.

But the audit conducted by the accounting chamber showed the opposite. A criminal case was opened under article 159 "Fraud". At the moment the investigation is over, the case was submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.
