The main suppliers of wheat to South Africa in the current season are: Germany (to 173.4 thousand tonnes), Czech Republic (77,7 thousand tons), Poland (77, 4 thousand tons), Russia (53,1 thousand tons) of material Information services at grain South Africa (SAGIS).

For the whole of last season, South Africa imported 2 062,8 thousand MT of wheat mainly from Russia (96,71 thousand tons) and Germany (283,5 thousand tons).
