At the XXI St. Petersburg international economic forum the Minister of agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev met with the Minister of agriculture and environmental protection of the Republic of Serbia Branislav Nedimovic.

The Serbian side expressed its interest in import of Russian agricultural machinery and suggested the possibility of localization of production of Russian manufacturers.

Serbia is one of the important suppliers of vegetables and fruits to the Russian market. For the purpose of development of mutual deliveries of agricultural products, the parties agreed on the level of regulatory services to provide additional control of products of high phytosanitary risk.
