Omsk court sentenced the head of peasant farms (KFH) Odessa district of the Omsk region three years in a penal colony for fraud in obtaining agricultural subsidies in the amount of 2.7 million rubles, reported the press service of the regional Ministry of internal Affairs.

"As a result of providing false information to the head of farm illegally received subsidies of more than $ 2.7 million. Odessa district court found the farmer guilty of fraud in especially large size in obtaining benefits and was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment", – said the Agency.

The court found that the scammer has provided to the regional Ministry of agriculture the documents for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in 2015 and 2016 to the processing of leased land. However, inspection of the land by experts showed that the cultivation of land in the case was conducted.
