In the first eight months of the season 2016/17 Kazakhstan exported 1597 thousand tons of flour, which is 5.4% higher than exports in the same period last season (1514 thousand tonnes, in September-April 2015/16).

This season, the proportion of Afghanistan in the structure of exports of flour from the country. During the reporting period, the market sales accounted for 68% of all shipments, compared to 54% in 2015/16. Since the beginning of the season, Kazakhstan exported to Afghanistan 1087 thousand tons of flour, which is 35% higher than deliveries in the same period last season.

Some growth in shipments of Kazakh flour and noted in the China market. Since the beginning of the 2016/17 MG Kazakhstan has put on the market 9 thousand tons of flour compared to 7.9 million tonnes of exports for the whole of last season.
