After data correction, the Statistical office reported. The production of meat and dairy products in the country increased during the reporting period by 8.2%. It is also reported that export of dairy products in the 2nd quarter of this year increased by 19%, while imports of meat rose by 2.5 %. The cost of external sales also increased by 13%, which was the result of rising prices. Prices of dairy products increased during the quarter by 3.4%, prices for meat and meat products during this period rose by 6.9%. Total sales of dairy and meat products in the 2nd quarter rose 1% after falling 0.2% in the 1st quarter of the current year. Compared with the figure for the 2nd quarter of 2016 the sale of meat and dairy products rose 0.4%.
