On September 19, according to the regional agricultural agencies, the gross harvest of greenhouse vegetables in the whole country is 579,2 thousand tons, which is 22.9% more than in the same period last year (in 2016 471,1 thousand tons).

All around the country gathered 395,6 thousand tons of cucumbers (in 2016 -332,8 thousand tons) and of 174.3 thousand tons of tomatoes (in 2016 – 125,3 thousand tons). The yield of other vegetable crops is 9.3 thousand tons (2016 – 13,6 thousand tons).

Leaders in the production of greenhouse vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) among the subjects of the Russian Federation became the Krasnodar territory – by 72.3 thousand tons, in Stavropol Krai – 48.3 thousand tonnes, Tatarstan – 35,1 thousand tons, the Republic of Bashkortostan is 33 thousand tons, Karachay-Cherkess Republic – 28.1 thousand tons.
