In particular, the volume of export shipments of coal in August 2017, compared with the same period last year, increased 6 times and amounted to 55.7 thousand tonnes. Domestic flights grew by almost 2%, to 179 thousand tonnes.

Shipment of coal was carried out from the stations of the North-Caucasian railway in the fuel-energy companies and utilities in the North Caucasus, Volga region and Central black earth region, for export through the ports of the Azov-black sea basin in neighboring countries, Canada, Italy and Turkey.
