In his welcoming speech, Alexander Tkachev said: "the Exhibition of achievements of agriculture shows that the products produced by Russian farmers, the first worthy of the shelves of the country. Because GUM is traditionally not just a shop but the attractions that tourists must visit and guests of the capital".

The geography of the presented products is not only nearby to the Moscow region, but also products from Rostov, Adygea and Krasnodar, Bashkiria, Karelia and Altai. The fair also present the products of foreign partners from Belarus, Armenia and Uzbekistan.

The exhibition is held ahead of the main agrarian forum of the country – the exhibition "Golden autumn 2017" to be held 4-7 October at ENEA and gather 1,400 businesses, unions and associations of producers from 70 regions of the country and 15 foreign countries. The participants will present in their expositions of the best investment projects, production of food and processing industry, agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as demonstrate the pedigree breeds of farm animals.
