In January-September the country was supplied by 553 thousand tons of meat ($1 billion 490,8 million), which is 23.9% more than for 9 months of last year (446,4 million tons). Fish imports amounted to 284.5 million tons ($768 million), which is 14% higher than a year earlier. According to FCS, in January-September this year, the import of poultry meat made 169,2 thousand tons ($270,1 million) against 157,7 thousand tons ($212,3 million) for the first 9 months of last year. Russia also imported 83,7 thousand tons ($446,2 million) of butter vs 71.1 thousand tons ($243,1 million) in January-September 2016, 185,4 million tons ($417,4 million) condensed cream and milk against 173,5 thousand tons ($367 million), respectively.

Imports of citrus increased to 847,8 thousand tons ($663,7 million) 805,2 thousand tons ($634,2 million), of vegetable oil to 16.1 million tons ($11.1 million) from 2.9 million tons ($2.8 million), and coffee - up to 136,5 thousand tons ($459,8 million) from 122 million tons ($353,4 million), tea - up to 125,1 thousand tons ($383,7 million) with 122,1 thousand tons ($412,9 million). According to the FCS, the import of cocoa beans in January-September this year increased to 36 thousand tons ($93.5 million) from 32.1 thousand tons ($108,4 million) for the corresponding period last year. Delivery raw sugar fell to 11.4 thousand tons ($7.4 million) with 242,7 thousand tons ($101,2 million) for the first 9 months of last year, the white sugar down to 196 thousand tons ($97.2 million) of 197.3 thousand tons ($105.5 million), respectively. The cost of imported in the Russian Federation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the first 9 months of this year amounted to $1.6 billion versus $1.15 billion for the same period last year, cigarettes and cigars - $115,5 million, compared to $103.8 million, respectively.
