The largest increase in export transportation of timber cargoes recorded in the segment of box cars (+88% to 112 thousand tons).

"A complete ban on commercial logging in China is driven by increasing the volume of sawn timber production of the Russian manufacturers for future deliveries for export. The greatest demand for box cars of JSC "FGC", we note the ranges of the Eastern-Siberian, Krasnoyarsk, Kuibyshev and other Railways", – said the head of the Department of transportation of cargo in covered wagons of JSC "FGC" Denis Katkov.

The volumes of loading timber for export under existing and new contracts has increased, these clients of JSC "FGC", JSC "Red Anchor", LLC "Kronospan Bashkortostan", LLC "zheshartsky LPK" and others. Covered wagons of JSC "FGC" in October 2017 were directed mainly to the Republic of China, Kazakhstan, the Baltic ports.
