All around the country gathered 440,8 thousand tons of cucumbers (in 2016 386,7 thousand tons) and 217,4 thousand tons of tomatoes (in 2016 187,6 thousand tons). The yield of other vegetable crops amounts to 10.7 thousand tons (in 2016 – 15.6 thousand tons).

Leaders in the production of greenhouse vegetables in agricultural organizations and K(f)X among the subjects of the Russian Federation became the Krasnodar territory – 79,5 thousand tonnes, Stavropol Krai – 58,2 thousand tonnes, Tatarstan 39.5 thousand tons, the Republic of Bashkortostan – 39,2 thousand tons, and Lipetsk oblast– 30.4 thousand tons.
