Consumer prices increased 0.1% for the fifth week in a row. Since the beginning of December inflation grew 0.4%, from the beginning of the year reached 2.5%.

For the last week eggs have risen in price by 1.1%, pork, beef, wheat and margarine – on 0,2-0,4%. Buckwheat has fallen in price on 0,9%, sugar – by 0.5%, chickens, flour and sunflower oil – by 0,1-0,3%. The growth of prices for vegetables and fruits is estimated at 2.3%, tomatoes and cucumbers rose an average of 7.7%. Gasoline prices increased by 0.3%, diesel fuel – by 0.6%.

Central Bank expects by the end of 2017 inflation at 2.4 to 2.6 percent. This forecast was contained in the December report on monetary policy.
