As said to "Interfax" the head of the center Igor Pavensky, wheat exports reached nearly 22 million tons, 5.9 million tons more than a year ago, of barley, 3.6 million tonnes (1.86 million tons), corn - 2.3 million tons (178 thousand tons less). Including December's exports amounted to 5.3 million tonnes as against 3.4 million tons in December 2016.

"The current rate of export allow to increase the forecast of grain exports during the agricultural year (July 2017-June 2018 - if) from 48.1 million to 49 million tons," - said I. Pavensky.

According to him, "based on current applications and ports that shipped in the new year holidays this season will probably be higher than normal and the continued warm weather, it can be assumed that in January of 2018, the export of grain though, and will fall, but will be at a record level, typical of the autumn months in past seasons - about 4 million tons compared to 2.39 million tons in January 2017".
