The company's fishing industry began to make decisive steps to encourage greater consumption of fish products. One of the examples of the new pricing largest fish processing enterprises of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district, OOO "Salekhard works". The plant has reduced the prices of its products from 10 to 18%. Measure aimed at increasing demand for local fishery products among residents of the district, calculated for a long time and is associated primarily with the increase in production volumes: if in 2016 the company issued 2096 tons of finished products, in 2017, the production volume increased by 12% and amounted to 2351 ton. In 2018 it is planned to increase production by another 10%.

Today the plant produces more than 60 types of canned and 90 species of fish – smoked, dried, salted, culinary and semi-finished products. Production capacities allow to process 4 tons of fish per year, producing 4 million cans. The raw materials used by local fish species, develop in the reservoirs of the Ob river. Suppliers of raw materials – fisheries management organization of the Yamal Peninsula: JSC "Gorkovskiy factory," MP "Aksarkovskoe Fishing enterprise," MP "Novoportovskoye fishery", MP "salemal'skogo fishery", JSC "Svyatogor" JSC "state Farm "Baydaratsky" and others.

Only in 2017 on the Yamal processed 12 thousand tons of fish, including 881 released a ton of canned food, in 2016, their production was 655 tons. Deep processing of fish products are four companies – two in Purovsky district and two in Salekhard. Only in the fisheries of the Autonomous district engaged more than 40 organizations, thanks to which the region remained consistently high level of security of the population of local fish products.
