Mobile customs complexes for the detection of the sanctions, imported to Russia via Belarus, appeared in the border with the state districts of the Bryansk and Smolensk regions. This was reported by TASS for the Bryansk and Smolensk customs.

"Three mobile customs complex systems will operate on the border in Bryansk region to track the movement of goods away from the stationary customs posts that are not on the Russian-Belarusian border," - said the representative of the Bryansk customs.

Inside minivans equipped working places for customs officers, with whom they can check in databases of the authenticity of the accompanying documents for imported goods, there is also x-ray video device, which allows to look in hard to reach areas of cars.

In Smolensk region there will be four such mobile complex, they will work as close to the border with Belarus, and in the back of the border regions, said the representative of Smolensk customs.

The introduction of mobile systems against the backdrop of growth in the number of attempts the passage of the sanctions, reported in the Smolensk customs.

In the Smolensk region last year there were 262 consignment - their number increased 1.6 times compared with the year 2016.

Total weight of products seized amounted to 4.6 thousand tons, which is twice more than in 2016.
