Budget investment in the fisheries of Kamchatka in 2017 has tripled.
The Minister of fisheries of the region noted that the tax privileges and preferences, as well as direct financial support of investment projects contributed to the increase in the volume of investment.

The volume of extrabudgetary investments in fishing industry of Kamchatka in 2017 almost tripled and amounted to 4.6 billion rubles. This was announced on Friday, the Minister of fisheries of the territory Vladimir Galitsyn in his public report to the government of the province.

"The volume of extrabudgetary investments in fishing industry of Kamchatka last year was 4.6 billion rubles, which is almost three times higher than in 2016," the Minister said, quoted by the press service of the regional government.

According to Galitsin, increase investment contributed to tax breaks and incentives, direct financial support of investment projects, long-term rights to the extraction of aquatic biological resources, resident support priority development areas and quotas for the catch of aquatic bioresources for investment purposes.

As said TASS in the press service of the government, in 2016 the volume of extrabudgetary investments in the fisheries sector in the region was 1.6 billion rubles. "In addition, the volume of budget financing of the program of development of fishery of Kamchatskiy Krai in 2017 amounted to 115 million rubles," - said the representative of the press service.

In 2017, the region completed the implementation of several projects. In particular, the construction of a fish processing plant, seasonal actions in the village of Ivashka a trip to the area, for upgrading of the existing base of seasonal processing of fish products in the village Pakhachi olyutorskogo district and others.

"In General, over the period from 2008 to 2017 enterprises of the fisheries industry in the development of its onshore processing facilities and modernization of the fishing fleet invested more than 25 billion rubles. On the coasts of the Peninsula built and reconstructed in 19 plants with a capacity of from 150 to 350 tons per day, production capacity increased by more than 3,500 tons per day, built, purchased and renovated 18 fishing vessels", - quotes the Minister press service.
