Crimean district will present at the XVIII Russian investment forum in Sochi the project of the gardens of the super intensive type, the implementation of which will need about 600 million rubles, said on Thursday the press-service of administration of Krasnodar region.

As explained TASS in regional Ministry of agriculture, currently the gardening is one of priority directions of agro-industrial complex of Kuban. The super intensive type gardens that allow you to get a more rich harvest, and begin to bear fruit earlier than usual, are one of the most modern and cost-effective technologies of gardening. By the end of 2017 in the region received less than 500 million tons of fruits and berries. Vice-Governor of the region Andrei Box, in the future, the region should reach an annual total production of 1 million tons of Kuban apples, which will allow to cover the needs of the Kuban and to put a substantial amount of fruits in other regions.

"Investors are encouraged to create an Apple orchard with high density planting - 3571 tree per hectare, as well as supporting system of anti-hail nets and drip irrigation. <...> The cost of the project is 600 million rubles", - stated in the message.

It is clarified that the trees in super intensive orchards begin to bear fruit much earlier than the traditional and for the past 15-20 years, consistently giving a high (60-65 tonnes per hectare) and high-quality crop. In the Crimean area is planned to grow more than 10 of Russia's most popular Apple varieties: Greni Smith, Gala, Golden delicious, Red delicious, Renet Simirenko and others. Products can be supplied year-round, including in large retail chains. The project will be implemented by 2021, the gardens will provide jobs to over 150 local residents, approximately the same number will be involved on the enterprise to season.

Russian investment forum (RIF) will take place in Sochi on February 15-16. It is positioned as a traditional platform for presentations of economic and investment potential of Russia. In 2017, the forum was attended by more than 4.5 thousand people from 37 countries. The exhibition area was about 10 thousand square meters, it was concluded 377 agreements for a total amount of 490 billion rubles.
