Due to this, the period of consideration of applications has dropped significantly. And this spring, the producers could get the seed money for the campaign long before it started.

"Measures of state support and soft loans including needs to help our farmers not only provide food security of the country, but also to increase its export potential, to become more competitive players in foreign markets»- said Dzhambulat Hatuov.

Overall, in 2018 on implementation of the mechanism of preferential crediting of agricultural producers has more than 13 billion rubles, which will allow authorized banks to give farmers short-term loans in the amount of 230 billion rubles (last year – 200 billion rubles). Banks are already actively investing in many areas of the agricultural sector, which the Ministry of agriculture of Russia considers strategic. This is primarily dairy cattle, the production of fruits, berries and greenhouse vegetables. Dzhambulat Hatuov called promising investment projects in the field of food and processing industry, as well as flax. The projects aimed at technical re-equipment of enterprises for production and processing of flax, undoubtedly, will become an effective stimulus for the development of regions of non-Chernozem zone.

"The acquisition of soft loans contributes to the dynamic development of strategically important sub-sectors of agriculture- said the first Deputy Minister. – Today it is necessary to improve the interaction between banks and regional leaders of agro-industrial complex to preferential loans were provided maximum number of producers».

He also recalled the strict compliance with the rule that at least 20% of the total amount of soft loans should be allocated to representatives of small farms.
