The market of meat and meat products. In January-December 2017 the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 14.6 million tons and in comparison with the similar period of 2016 increased by 4.7%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 15.02.2018 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 203,05 thousand RUB/ton (-0.4 per cent for the week to 1.2% by the end of December 2017), pork half – carcasses- 145,36 thousand RUB/ton (-1,3% for the week, -3,1% by the end of December 2017), poultry – 96,02 thousand RUB/ton (-0.4 per cent for the week -0,8% by the end of December 2017).

The market of milk and dairy products. In January-December 2017 year, the gross milk yield in the farms of all categories amounted to 31.1 million tons and increased relative to the level in 2016 by 1.2% in the agricultural sector to the gross milk yield increased by 3.8% to 15.7 million tons.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 15.02.2018 on raw milk RUB made up of 23.90/kg (-0,26 RUB/kg for the week -0,83 RUB/kg by the end of December 2017).

The sugar market. In January-December 2017 the production of sugar increased by 15.9% compared to the same period in 2016 and $ 6 690,7 thousand tons. As 14.02.2018. the wholesale price of sugar in the SFD for the week increased by 1.5% (+6.0% from the beginning of the year) and to 26.88 RUB/kg.
