In the Kaliningrad region implemented main stages of the project interregional livestock Holding: feed production, herd reproduction, rearing and fattening calves to a desired weight to send to the sites of grain fed. The total number of cattle on farms of the region exceeds 50 thousand animals.

The main element in the production chain is the parent flock the number of 30 thousand heads. It produces marketable livestock for further fattening, slaughter and processing, as well as heifers, which are to increase the herd and replacing cows, the disposal of natural causes. To monitor the health and productivity of animals is ultrasound diagnostics, which allows to detect pregnancy and to predict the time of calving. The first calves will be born in April. The percentage of steers and heifers in the progeny is expected to be 50/50. Reproduction of livestock is in compliance with the highest standards of veterinary control and Biosafety, which provides 19 veterinarians company.

"Accurate detection of pregnancy in cattle is an integral part of the production process, directly depends on economic efficiency of the project. By the end of 2018 we plan to record for the Kaliningrad region the number of calves. Thanks to them, the General livestock of cattle of the Aberdeen-Angus breed on the farms of the company in 2018 will increase by 25% - to 70 thousand animals," - said the press service of the APH "Miratorg".
