Dagestani companies are going to deliver to Tatarstan rice in exchange for export of dried milk, in which the North Caucasian Republic feels the need. TASS said acting Minister of agriculture and food of Dagestan Kerimkhan Abasov on the sidelines of the national forum of agricultural producers in Krasnodar.

 

 

"The Treaty for 2018, we have for the supply of mutton with Tatarstan is 1500 tons, and for rice we say. There is a exchange, they want us to supply milk, these points we will examine in greater detail. Dagestan is you need at least 3 tons of dry milk. Rice is relevant for them, milk is important for us", - said the Agency interlocutor.

Abasov noted that Tatarstan can cover all the needs of Dagestan in dry milk. "They have a lot. They can put in an unlimited quantity," he said.

Earlier it was reportedthat Dagestan intends to deliver in year 5 to 8 thousand tons of rice in Tatarstan. It was noted that delivery will be carried out by private companies.

All-Russian forum of agricultural producers held in Krasnodar on March 11-12. It was attended by delegations from more than 70 regions of the Russian Federation, experts of the largest Russian companies and representatives of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation. The forum discusses the development of AIC and rural territories, increase of profitability of agricultural producers and farmers, improvement of mechanisms of state support of the industry.
