The third in the CIS in terms of production country of production of cheese and curd, Ukraine was reduced in 2013-2017 the volume of production with 249 thousand tons to 187 thousand tons. This was due to the introduction of restrictions for a number of Ukrainian companies on the Russian market (the restrictions were imposed by the Rosselkhoznadzor in 2014). And in 2016 in Ukraine were distributed to the position of the Russian Ministry of bradenburg, and the import of Ukrainian cheese and cottage cheese on the territory of Russia ceased completely.
