According to Sitnikova, the niches in this sector in the region is sufficient. "We do not produce amino acids, gluten, starch and so on that the demand in the food industry, do not produce feed additives", - reminded the Minister.

According to the Ministry of agriculture of the Stavropol region, slightly better in the region developed milk processing - from 631,8 thousand tons of milk produced is processed 30%. In March 2018 in the city of Nevinnomyssk started OOO "Kazminsky dairy plant", which was created by merging six local producers. The authors of the project hope that the plant's products will be sold in the territory, regions of South of Russia and North Caucasus, in the Republic of Crimea, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
