Analyzing the dynamics of production in a new wave of research of the Russian market of juices from "AnalyticResearchGroup," the specialists note that in most product categories the volume of production declining over the past years, and in 2017, the producers have reduced production in all major types of juices.

The most popular product category – Apple juice – have suffered the least: the volume of production for the year fell by 39.6% and amounted at the end of 2017 to 329.3 454 thousand standard. cans. Other juice products, the negative trends were more marked: for example, the production of tomato juice, which has grown steadily for three years, in 2016 decreased by 36.4%, and in 2017 – by 55.4%. The most notable negative trend in 2017 showed grapefruit juice: drink this kind, the Russian manufacturers have released to 82.4% less than the year before.

However, as noted in the study, the import of juices in 2017 (in real terms) declined only according to several categories (for example, in the category of Apple juice by 4.5%, in the category of orange juice – 7.8%). Statistics show that increased supply of grapefruit, tomato and grape juice, and the most noticeable dynamics showed categories of pineapple juice (+38.5%) and other juices (+63,8%, it is the juice of cranberries, pears, tropical fruits, cherries, etc.).
