The market of meat and meat products. In January-February of 2018, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 2.2 million tonnes in comparison with the same period in 2017, increased by 6.4%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 29.03.2018 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 203,23 thousand rubles per ton (0,0%, -0,2% by the end of December 2017), pork half – carcasses- 147,52 thousand RUB/t (+1,3% over the week, a 1.7% by the end of December 2017), poultry – 94,86 thousand RUB/ton (-0,2% over the week to 2.0% by the end of December 2017).

The market of milk and dairy products. In January-February 2018 the gross milk yield in farms of all categories amounted to 4.1 million tonnes and increased relative to the level of 2017 by 2.8% in the agricultural sector to the gross milk yield increased by 5.4% to 2.5 million tonnes.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 22.03.2018 on raw milk amounted to RUB 23,04/kg (-0,18 RUB/kg per week, -1,69 RUB/kg by the end of December 2017).

The sugar market. In January-February of 2018, the production of sugar has decreased by 12.2% compared to the same period of 2017 and numbered 391.8 thousand tons.

As of March 27, 2018 wholesale price of sugar in the SFD for the week decreased by 0.4% (+9.9% from the beginning of the year) and amounted to 27,98 rbl./kg.
