The authorities of Krasnodar region is ready to consider options for the placement of production facilities of Belgian investors and creation of joint business of laboratories in the region, said Wednesday at a meeting with delegation of the Embassy of Belgium the Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev.

"You said that fans will drink beer on the world Cup, but a good Belgian beer wouldn't hurt and at another time, in the form of industrial production. As well as Belgian chocolate, Belgian pharmaceuticals - these products will be used daily demand because help a person, help to brighten the life," - said Kondratiev.

He said that the arrival of the Kuban will give the opportunity to the Belgian investors to enter the Russian market. But in the region he had ample opportunities: in fact, the region is home to more than 6 million people, more than 16 million come here annually as tourists. Last year the turnover between Krasnodar region and Belgium has grown to $80 million.

"This means that the Belgian business is committed to us, and we, the government, ready to create a platform to support and create conditions for work. Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium in Russia Jean Arthur Resibo noted that the decision to work in a particular region are the enterprises themselves.
