The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Evgeny Gromyko and Secretary-General of the Ministry of sustainable development and tourism of Austria Josef Plank. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Russia in Austria Dmitry lubinsky, sales representative of Russia in Austria Alexander Potemkin, heads of Departments of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, the representative of the Department of agricultural, food and construction and road machinery of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia Nikolay Bashlykov.

During the meeting the sides agreed to expand cooperation in the field of rural development, organic farming, certification, participation in Congress and exhibition events.

"The Russian side invited the Austrian partners to participate in the exhibition AGROSALON – 2018 to be held in Moscow from 9 to 12 October 2018. In addition, the minutes of the meeting included the proposal for the exchange of experience of experts and representatives of companies in the agricultural and food engineering from Russia and Austria in the production process", - said Alla Elizarova.

The main areas of cooperation were reflected in the minutes of the meeting, the signing of which took place on 11 April.
