The relevant amendments to the technical regulation "On safety of milk and dairy products" developed by the Ministry of agriculture, according to "Izvestia".

The publication notes that currently, these "cheeses" sold in stores under the guise of real cheese.

According to the agriculture Ministry, in 2017, Russia had sold 800 thousand tons of cheese and cheese products, the latter made up a quarter of the volume, which does not take into syrorobnyj products, as there is no such term neither in the regulations nor in the Federal law.

During this period Russia imported not less than 150 thousand tons of "cheese", which is 100% made from vegetable fat without milk, but raspasovyvalis and realized they are under the form of dairy products.

The Ministry explained that due to the lower cost of such goods producers are creating unfair competition in the market. In particular, the reduced demand for real raw milk, the price of which falls, leading to reduced efficiency of measures of state support of agricultural producers.
