Russia in February imported highest in the last 3 seasons the amount of rice
According to official data, in February of this year, Russia imported 21.6 thousand tons of rice, which is 37 per cent higher than in January this year and became the highest monthly rate of purchases over the last 3 seasons
It is worth noting that growth was achieved by Pakistan, which in February was shipped to the Russian Federation 8.9 thousand tons of grain as against 2.8 million tons in January.
For 5 months of the season 2017/18 (October-February) of the Russian Federation purchased 76,4 thousand tons of rice, which is 29% higher than the same period a year earlier.
