The mechanism of purchasing interventions on the market of milk and dairy products provides for the organization of commodity interventions through exchange trading and mandatory repurchase of products. The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation in March has sent on the coordination in Federal Antimonopoly service the proposed minimum procurement prices for milk and butter in the current year.

The Ministry proposes to set the limit levels of minimum prices is based in 24,1 thousand rubles per ton of raw milk, dried milk, skim – 224 thousand rubles per ton, dry milk, except skim — 296 thousand rubles per ton, for butter – 344 thousand rubles per ton.
