Almost 24% is the share of counterfeit products in the dairy market of the Russian Federation. In 2017, the figure was 19.4 per cent. This was reported "Interfax" the Executive Director of the Dairy Union Lyudmila Manicka with reference to the data of Rosselkhoznadzor.

"From the beginning, was studied 5765 parties of milk and dairy products, of which 1376 parties, or of 23.87% (...) had been falsified", — said the head of the Dairy Union.

While Manicka added that in the regions the picture is different with adulterated milk and dairy products in circulation.

According to her, most of the falsification found in Chelyabinsk region (49%), Samara region (47,5%) and a number of other regions, including the Moscow region, Altai Krai, Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol Krai.
