Near Tula will construct a plant for processing wood waste.
Plant environmentally friendly processing of waste wood and products of forest with a total investment of 1.3 billion rubles will be built in the special economic zone "Uzlovaya" in the Tula region, reports the regional government.

The agreement on cooperation in implementation of investment project of "Mistral" was signed on 24 may at the St. Petersburg international economic forum the Governor Alexey Dyumin, Vice-President of "Polytechnic Luft und Fasertechnik GmbH" Lucas Schirnhofer and the head of the company "Mistral" Sahabas of Shahbazov.

 

"It is planned that the investor will be 12 a resident of the SEZ "Hub" and build on-site production of environmentally friendly wood waste processing and products forest. The main products of the enterprise will be based products biochar: feed additive for livestock, additives for soil restoration, additional product — biochar premium grill, charcoal for pharmaceutical production, coal for metallurgical enterprises", — stated in the message.

 
 

A by-product will be heat and electricity through biogas emitted in the process of making coal.

"The project is expected to invest 1.3 billion rubles. The company will create up to 30 jobs," — said the regional government.

According to Dyumin, the plant's products will be in demand both in Russia and abroad.
