The Rosselkhoznadzor imposed temporary restrictions on supplies to Russia from the whole territory of Romania of live pigs, slaughter products of pigs, meat of pork, products containing pork, embryos of swine and boar semen. About it reported in a press release of the Russian authorities.

"This decision was made by the service for the cause of the deterioration of the epizootic situation of African swine fever in Romania and the obvious fact the further advancement of the disease into the EU. In particular, according to the International epizootic Bureau, the new ASF outbreaks among wild boars was in the area to Saat Mare (Romania)", - stated in the message.

The Russian Ministry noted that earlier similar case of the primary tumor in the wild was in the Czech Republic, and then for 2017 and 2018 was recorded 211 cases of ASF in the wild boar population in this country.
