More than a third of Turkish companies who started to put tomatoes in Russia on may 1, 2018, violates phyto-sanitary rules and requirements of the Eurasian economic Union. It is reported may 25, the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

As specified, to date, the tomatoes in Russia 43 export Turkish company, 29 of them began delivery in may.

"In the production of the eleven companies from among those that have not been previously inspected by the Rosselkhoznadzor revealed violations of norms and requirements of legislation of the Eurasian economic Union and Russia", — stated in the message.

The office informs that in connection with this situation the possibility to allow the supply of Turkish tomatoes only through the checkpoints in the Bryansk and Smolensk regions, as the conditions in the seaport of Gelendzhik is insufficient to exercise effective control over the import of such products.

Recall that from 1 may, the Rosselkhoznadzor was allowed to deliver to the Russian market all Turkish producers of tomatoes.
