Krasnodar producers ready to work with Crimea after the opening of traffic on the Crimean bridge, told TASS Deputy Governor Andrei Box.
During the "Straight line" President Vladimir Putin, responding to Crimean businessman, the issue of the high cost of food in the country, noted that the prices of goods in the Crimea after the launch of freight traffic on the Crimean bridge on par with the other regions of the Russian Federation.
"High quality products of local producers makes it competitive and widely demanded both in the country and in foreign markets. Crimea is not exception. When the fall will be open to traffic on the Crimean bridge for trucks, many manufacturers are ready to begin deliveries to the Crimea or to increase existing ones," said Box.
In turn, the General Director of one of the largest in the Krasnodar region enterprises of the dairy industry Korenovskiy milk factory Igor Moskovtsev told TASS that the company is already supplying its products to the Crimea.
"We sell at the same price as for the Krasnodar region to Crimea vendors make a different allowance because of the logistics. We supply the entire range: and condensed milk, and ice cream, and sour-milk. Plans to increase we have always, but with opening of traffic on the bridge costs, I think, will be reduced", - he said.
On the bridge in the Crimea
The need for construction of Crimean bridge emerged after the reunification of the Crimea with Russia in 2014. The bridge will provide uninterrupted transport and rail links the Peninsula to other regions of Russia.
Road part of the bridge was planned to open in December of this year, but was completed six months ahead of the deadline. The opening ceremony was held on may 15 with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and in the early morning of may 16 on the bridge started traffic. At the first stage, the bridge is open only for cars and buses, truck traffic is prohibited until the fall.
The construction of the railway part of the bridge continues its opening is planned for 2019.
