In the Kaliningrad region implemented main stages of the project interregional livestock holding: feed production, herd reproduction, rearing and fattening calves to a desired weight to send to the sites of grain fed. The total number of cattle in 9 farms in the region is more than 50 thousand animals. The main element in the production chain is the parent flock the number of 30 thousand heads. It produces marketable livestock for further fattening, slaughter and processing, as well as heifers, which are to increase the herd and replacing cows, the disposal of natural causes.

On the farms of the company continuing mass calving, reproduction of livestock is in compliance with the highest standards of veterinary control and Biosafety. Experts conduct round the clock monitoring the herd regularly tour the pastures and, if necessary, assist terashima cows and newborn calves. Spring-summer tour of parturition will last until the end of July, according to its results the company plans to 28 thousand calves, which will be the basis for further expansion of the project, 40% more than in 2017. The percentage of steers and heifers in the progeny is expected to be 50/50.

"Kaliningrad meat company" has been consistently increasing population: this is facilitated by the opening of new farms, broodstock replenishment of existing sites, are good indicators of insemination and pregnancy. By the end of 2018 we plan to record for the Kaliningrad region the number of calves and increase the total population on 25% - to 70 thousand animals.
