Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin instructed to consider additional measures of control over the funds allocated from the Federal budget for financing of the agroindustrial complex of the Russian Federation, the correspondent of IA REGNUM.

"Need more controls over the expenditure of budgetary funds on section "Agriculture", — said Volodin.

The problem drew the attention of the head of the Duma Committee for agrarian issues, Vladimir Kashin (CPRF). So, he said, the situation in the agricultural sector a cause for concern.

"The prices that have been established for the purchase of grain and sale of grain and other products in 2017, all done in order to 120 billion rubles, the peasants lost on the basis of lower prices almost doubled. Then there was a knock on the price of milk. And it is still ongoing. And third, of course, is the price of fuel and electricity," — said Cashin.

So, in his words, to treat a hectare of crops requires 72 litres of diesel. Thus, treatment of the entire planting area at a price is 80 million rubles.

Overall, Cashin said, the size of the investment in agriculture in 2018 increased two times in comparison with previous years, however, the size of investment loans today, very small and of the order of 194 of these selected projects may be funded in the proper amount.

Volodin drew the attention of parliamentarians on the current problem, and instructed to closely monitor the use of public funds.

"We are talking about that is money that was not spent. And we need to fight this. Because when we have not spent the funds allocated for agriculture, it is not normal. Because it is just, including, subsidies, preferential", — said Volodin.

The speaker instructed the head of the budget Committee Andrey Makarov ("United Russia") together with the Ministry of Finance with the adoption of amendments to the Federal budget for 2018 to prepare a draft resolution to reflect the need to allocate funds for the development of agriculture.
