The event was attended by the leading Russian companies representing the industry, among them, in particular, TONAR, Sespel', Sevzapspetsmash-Trailers, Bonum, Uralspetstrans, spetsavto-Vostok, avtomaster, Politrans, Grunwald, Spetspritsep. To the discussion were invited the leadership of the Association "Rosspetsmash", manufacturers of axes – BPW-OST and SAF-HOLLAND Rus, and manufacturer of technology for braking systems WABСO.

Mechanical engineers are United in the opinion that if the Russian market will remain dependent on foreign components, it is very difficult to expect further dynamic development of the industry.

The Committee meeting was of particular importance in connection with the amendments to the government decree No. 719, the criteria which confirms that the industrial products manufactured in Russia. From 1 January 2019 the paper will show the requirements for axial units (axle suspension) for trailers and semitrailers.

During the event, the engineers discussed the main technological operations and stages of localization products, which must be stated in the regulation. Consolidated proposals generated on the basis of careful analysis and will allow to clearly separate Russian manufacturer of axial components from foreign.

The Chairman of the Committee, General Director of LLC "TONAR" Denis Krivtsov said that the proposed changes to the regulation will allow to create in Russia conditions for mass production of axes, which are now in the country or imported, or are produced by individual enterprises only for their own needs. In addition, plants should not be put in such conditions when they would be required overnight to produce products with a localization level of 100%. Though proposed in a short time, but in stages.

The proposal of the industry Committee was unanimously supported by the meeting participants and in the near future will be considered in the Ministry of industry and trade.
