Engineering companies and component manufacturers are confident that the pooling of resources will create a highly efficient and competitive agricultural equipment and to develop engineering in the region.
 
"In the Perm region there are all conditions for creation of modern agricultural equipment: there are equipment manufacturers and components dealers and suppliers foreign machinery and equipment, as well as powerful research centers. Cluster — symbiosis of these enterprises, companies and institutions. Joint efforts will help to develop more advanced equipment to meet the current demands of farmers, — says Dmitry Teplov, Director of "Krasnokamsky RMZ", one of the initiators of the cluster. — In plans — creation of demand of agricultural machinery, not only for the Perm region and other regions of Russia and going abroad. We plan to export development and broad cooperation with the CIS countries and Eastern Europe."
 
Cooperation on the basis of the cluster will increase the number of scientific developments — planned annual launch of five new models of agricultural machinery and the five modifications of existing machines. In addition, "Krasnokamsky RMZ" and other members of the Association participate in the Federal program to improve productivity, which will contribute to the increase in production of enterprises cluster — 1.5 billion rubles in 2017 to 3.5 billion rubles by 2020.
 
Key members of the cluster of agricultural machinery steel engineering enterprise "Krasnokamsky RMZ", "Navigator–NM", "tehnograd" and "Great Land." The Association was joined by component suppliers and three educational institutions of Perm: University (PNRPU) and agricultural technology (PGTU them. Pryashnikova, formerly. Pgskha) universities and "training Institute-rmtspk".
 
The first meeting of the official Association will be held in the framework of the round table, which will be held on the exhibition "Agrofest – 2018" July 19. Mechanical engineers will discuss the features of the introduction of digital technology in agriculture and application of innovative solutions in production of agricultural equipment.
 
Recall that the cluster of agricultural machinery in Perm region was presented for the first time in 2017 at a national summit "Agromash". Pravidelne of the region made a proposal to give official status of the Association and register at the Federal level. Last year also signed an agreement on interaction with the two industry clusters in other regions — Association of producers of agricultural and timber industry of the Altai territory "ASTAKAM" and engineering cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan.
