This proposal has been repeatedly made by the Association "Rosspetsmash" and domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

Today, the budget provides for the allocation of 2019-2020 agricultural equipment manufacturers 2 billion rubles of subsidies annually.

The document was initiated by the leaders of the four Duma factions. The appeal says that subsidies to agricultural producers is an effective mechanism of state support provides a significant and inter-industry multiplier effect, stimulating growth of production of agricultural equipment, modernization of existing and creation of new production facilities in 70 companies in 37 regions of the Russian Federation.

According to the Director of the Association "Rosspetsmash" Alla Elizarova, over the last 5 years farmers have increased the purchase of agricultural equipment under the Program No. 1432 34% from 766 units in 2013 to 26 366 units in 2017.

Only in the last three years in the domestic agricultural machinery 22% increase in the number of employees (up to 37.5 thousand people) increased by 22%, average monthly wage (up to 33.8 thousand rubles), 61% increase in tax payments to budgets of all levels (up to 23.2 billion rubles).

In 2017 1 ruble grants to budgets of all levels received 1.48 rubles in taxes, so the budget efficiency was 148%.
