In the Kaluga region stated the need for the production of 1 million tons of milk per year. As announced on 30 July the Governor Anatoly Artamonov at the meeting of the regional government, the achievement of this indicator — one of the main challenges for the livestock sector of the region, the correspondent of IA REGNUM.
According to the Governor, today, dairy farming is a key industry of the region. In Kaluga region there are 129 of milking robots on 36 farms. Until the end of 2018 will be put into operation not less than 12 robots on 4 farms. Completed the equipment of Assembly line robots, their production will begin in the near future. It is necessary to actively sell the products of Kaluga producers not only within the region but also beyond.
Simultaneously, input of a new mechanism of preferential crediting of agricultural producers stimulated the inflow of investments into the agricultural business. Currently, the investment portfolio of the Kaluga region exceeds 67 billion. As previously stated Anatoly Artamonov, the region ranks first in Russia to increase milk production. In the last three years, the Kaluga region takes the first place in the Central Federal district the increase in milk production.
"If there is sufficient amount of raw material prospects for treatment," — said the Governor.
Recall that in 2017 the territory of the Kaluga region operated about 31 enterprises for milk processing.
