According to signed in December 2017, to the decree of the RF government, in 2018 exports from the intervention Fund may be sent to 500 thousand tons of grain. The bidding for the implementation of the intervention Fund of grain for export was launched on the National commodity exchange (NTB) on June 20.

"The results of the 20 trading sessions, the volume of exchange transactions (including terminated contracts) amounted to about 336 thousand tons of grain (67% of the planned 500 thousand tons), worth about 2,739 billion. The Ministry is preparing a draft Executive order providing for additional volumes of grain on the domestic and foreign markets", — told in the Ministry of agriculture.

"The question of carrying out of purchasing interventions will be considered after the implementation of grain from the intervention Fund, if necessary, given market conditions," added the Ministry.
