The administration of the Rosselkhoznadzor for Moscow, Moscow and Tula regions prevented the delivery to the Russian market a batch of peaches from Turkey, infected by the quarantine facility, announced on August 13 in a press-service of supervising Department.
"During the inspection party peaches fresh weight of 19 tons, arrived from Turkey (origin — the Republic of Turkey) was identified as a quarantine for Russia object — Oriental moth (Grapholita molesta Busck.)", — stated in the message.
It is noted that the batch of contaminated products were returned to the address of the shipper in compliance with the Russian phytosanitary legislation.
