According to the plans for development of the project the total number of cattle on farms in the region in 2019 will exceed 80 thousand heads. To provide the animals with natural food, every year the company expands the acreage of forage crops: perennial grasses, corn for silage and grain, returning the land to agriculture and increasing the efficiency of land uses.
Grass forage is an important element of the diet for the effective feeding of animals. In September 2018, the company plans to sow rye for green forage and triticale grain in the area of 5 thousand hectares to harvest in 45 thousand tonnes, as high quality seed material, modern machinery and advanced agricultural technologies.
