In Kostroma region the burnt pig farm will help to restore the breeding stock of pigs, according to regional TV "Russia". The head of the region Sergey Sitnikov has tasked to departmentwhat transfer of funds of state enterprise "Shuvalovo".

The company implements the investment project on construction of a livestock breeding complex for 1200 heads, with a total investment volume of over 740 million rubles.

IA REGNUM reminds that on August 9, 2018 in the Kostroma region as a result of a fire at the company "Shuvalovo" killed breeding stock of pigs. Firefighters extinguished the fire about four hours.

According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was a short in the wiring. Polyurethane foam, which was used in the hull structure contributed to the spread of fire.

We will note that JSC "Shuvalovo" is the largest in the Kostroma region in the meat processing enterprise with its own resource base, it works on the market for over 40 years. The company supplies pork and sausages in more than 30 regions of Russia.
