As reported "Interfax" in the service the next meeting will be held on Tuesday in Rostov-on-don. First last week took place in Krasnodar.

The need for such meetings is that for the last three months increased the number of claims of importing countries as to the quality and security of Russian grain. It is, above all, about the notifications received by the Rosselkhoznadzor from Vietnam, Egypt, Indonesia, Israel and some other countries.

As reported, in this connection, the Rosselkhoznadzor has instructed its territorial offices to strengthen control over compliance with the quarantine phytosanitary requirements of countries-importers of Russian grain to its quality and safety. It stressed that the strengthening of control will not limit grain exports, and non-observance of requirements of importing countries shall entail reputational risks for Russia and a possible ban of import of Russian grain in a number of countries.

In particular, Vietnam has already warned that from November 1, 2018 will be the return of Russian grain in case of detection in it of the weed - field Thistle.

As reported by "Interfax", the meeting in Krasnodar, in the number of measures to strengthen control on it called the strict observance of deadlines for consideration of applications for issuing quarantine and phytosanitary certificates and phytosanitary certificates for re-export. In accordance with the order of the Ministry of agriculture, applications must be considered within three days.

Control will be enhanced as plant quarantine (the presence in the grain, weeds and pathogens), and by the quality evaluation Centre of grain and products of its processing (the structure of the Rosselkhoznadzor).

As was stated at the meeting of exporters in the planning of the supplies you need to specify in advance the requirements of the importing countries, since they are constantly updated and/or amended.

So, Viet Nam has established that the number of sprouted grains in grain lots must not exceed 15%. Egypt has tightened the requirements for the infestation of grain pests. According to them, the contamination is not allowed.

According to the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation from July 1 to September 13 of this year, exported 12.1 million tons of grain, which is 32.9% higher than the same period last year (9.1 million tons).
