Traditionally, the course will include lectures and practical classes. During the course the following topics will be covered:

- General information about enzymatic sequencing using ddNTP termination by Sanger, with the separation of the reaction products using capillary electrophoresis;

extraction and purification of DNA from the test material. Amplification of a fragment of the mitochondrial genome (PCR);

detection of PCR products by electrophoresis in agarose gel;

- purification of PCR product using ExoSAP reagent. The sequencing of the amplified DNA fragments using reagents BigDye® Terminator v1.1(v3.1) Cycle Sequencing Kit;

- determining the nucleotide sequence by capillary electrophoresis on an automated genetic analyzer (ABI Prism 3130);

- interpretation of test results. Quality control of sequencing, discussion of possible problems. The particular implementation of the technique in laboratory practice.

The cost of participation in a training course for one person is 34 402,41 RUB, including 18% VAT.
