Business mission timed to the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Tashkent to hold the First forum of interregional cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Russian delegation – management of companies of agricultural machinery belonging to the Association "Rosspetsmash", heads of Federal ministries and departments, the Russian export centre (REC).

One of the main topics discussed during the visit is the modernisation of agriculture of Uzbekistan with the use of opportunities of the Russian enterprises specialized engineering.

18 October in Tashkent held a practical seminar on the theme "agriculture: growth points for the development of cooperation", in which took part the Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Levin, Deputy Minister of agriculture of Uzbekistan Saidkamol Hodjaev, Director of the Association "Rosspetsmash" Alla Elizarova, the leadership of the RECs, the Russian manufacturers of agricultural machines, representatives of the agricultural business of the country.

Company of agricultural machinery from Russia annually increasing exports of its high-tech products around the world. One of the main areas is Uzbekistan, local farmers actively acquiring Russian agromashiny.

According to Alla Elizarova, in 2018 exports of agricultural machinery from Russia to this country increased 7.5 times compared to the previous year. For 9 months it was 1.3 billion RUB. Factories supply a wide range of the means of production, in particular grain and forage harvesters, power tractors, mowers, harrows, plows, balers, equipment, livestock, grain cleaning machines and other equipment.

Representatives of the agricultural business in Uzbekistan note that the interest agromashina from Russia every year grows. Mechanical engineers belonging to the Association "Rosspetsmash", if necessary, ready to increase supplies, and to develop cooperation in export to the Republic of production of road-building and food engineering.

During the business mission scheduled a series of presentations of Russian companies in the following sectors: energy, engineering, information technology and transport. A presentation of the project to attract potential importers. In addition, held a series of bilateral B2B-meetings, which will be attended by about 400 representatives of various companies and more than 100 Russian exporters.
